Review – Boardmasters 2016

Without a doubt topping one of the best festivals in the UK!

The most fun I have had with friends and loved one in a short space of time this summer!

With the view that Boardmasters holds its hard not to love the festival, the atmosphere is amazing and no drama! Glitter goddess’s everywhere you look, Guys in retro outfits and everyone smiling!

No wonder the festival became so close to selling out days before the festival gates opened!

Whether you fancied watching the surf & BMX comps or chilling on the beach listening to the day sessions it truly was a remarkable festival.

The guys at Boardmasters made it enjoyable for everyone!

With new stages, more things to do, see or eat! There was something for everyone to enjoy.

The beautiful backdrop of Watergate Bay held the most spectacular view for on goers to peacefully watch during the day or to dance in front in the evening. With a strong crowd of over 40,000 people on the Saturday alone, it didn’t feel cramped or over crowded. The campsites were a short walk, dependant on where you decided to pitch up. Each one with at least a variety of food stalls to concur your late night hunger after dancing away to Chase and Status or singing along to one of Kaiser Chiefs famous songs!

Whether you preferred the Main Stage, Corona Sunset stage, The Point or even the Nandos DJ Van there’s something for everyone!

We were gifted with the most beautiful weather! Singing along to one of the main headliners James Bay with the sun setting was fabulous. I don’t think you can honestly find a festival that feels so intimate yet so big as Boardmasters. Everything so close to each other however at a good distance from one another so acts don’t affect other acts on at the same time.

With such good value for money and fabulous set ups I definitely cant wait for next years Boardmasters! Although we all know they will make it bigger, I honestly don’t know how they are going to top this year from being better!

I can honestly say I will keep returning to Boardmasters no matter the line up or the weather! Making new friends, putting on glitter and dancing around come rain or shine is just a memorable experience. Listening to upcoming artists who will in years to come be on our charts, you can say you heard them first at Boardmasters. What a spectacular Festival in a beautiful location of the UK.

For such a good value for money you can honestly not complain! With fantastic acts who usually you would pay a minimum of £60 each to see it truly is an incredible weekend.

Thank you Boardmasters
